Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Industrial Engineering) / 02 Posts

Qualification:

 M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc(Engg.) or equivalent Post Graduate degree in Industrial Engineering in first class with an aggregate minimum of 60% or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 point scale with pre-eligibility qualification of B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc(Engg.)/M.Sc or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering in first class with an aggregate minimum of 65% of marks (Average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.84 on a 10 point scale. Minimum 65% marks or CGPA 6.84 in Section B alone for candidates with AMIE/Grad IETE qualification.

Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Chemical Engineering) /02 Posts

Qualification: 

 B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc(Engg.)/M.Sc or equivalent in Chemical Engineering in first class with an aggregate minimum of 65% of marks (Average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.84 on a 10 point scale. Minimum 65% marks or CGPA 6.84 in Section B alone for candidates with AMIE/Grad IETE qualification.

Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Physics) /01 (Identified for PWDLD/CP)

Qualification:

 M.Sc-Physics in first class with an aggregate minimum of 60% of marks (Average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 point scale. Knowledge in NDT methods is desirable.

Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Industrial Engineering/ Industrial Management)/01 Post

Qualification: 

 M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc(Engg.) or equivalent Post Graduate degree in Industrial Engineering/ Industrial Management in first class with an aggregate minimum of 60% of marks (Average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 point scale with pre-eligibility qualification of B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc(Engg.)/M.Sc or equivalent in ECE/E&IE/EEE in first class with an aggregate minimum of 65% of marks (Average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.84 on a 10 point scale. Minimum 65% marks or CGPA 6.84 in Section B alone for candidates with AMIE/Grad IETE qualification.

Scientist/ Engineer ‘SC’ (Industrial Safety/01 Post

Qualification:   

M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc(Engg.) or equivalent Post Graduate degree in Industrial Safety in first class with an aggregate minimum of 60% of marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 point scale with preeligibility qualification of B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc(Engg.)/M.Sc or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering/ Chemical Engineering in first class with an aggregate minimum of 65% (Average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI Grading of 6.84 on a 10 point scale. Minimum 65% marks or CGPA 6.84 in Section B alone for candidates with AMIE/Grad IETE qualification.

Selection Process:  

Candidates meeting the norms will be shortlisted and called for Interview. The qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and possession of the same does not automatically make the candidates eligible to be called for Interview. Based on the academic performance of the candidates applied, number of vacancies, number of candidates applied etc., initial screening will be done to short-list candidates for Interview. Final selection will be based on the performance of the candidates in the interview and those who secure minimum 60% marks in the interview will be eligible for consideration for empanelment in the selection panel, in the order of merit.

Hiring Process :  

Written-test, Face to Face Interview

 The application for on-line registration will be hosted in the SDSC SHAR website between 20.05.2017 (1000 hours) and 08.06.2017 (1700 hours).
Candidates are not required to send the confirmatory copy. However, the on-line application has to be invariably followed up with a copy of “No Objection Certificate’’ from the employer concerned in respect of those applicants who are employed under Central/State Government/Public Sector Undertakings /Autonomous Bodies, duly indicating the name, the post for which applied/post No. and Regn. No. on the reverse of the NOC and which should be sent within 10 days of registering the on-line application and in any case not later than 19.06.2017 by ORDINARY POST to:
