Assistant Professor/Library Assistant / Laboratory Assistant job position in Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Viswavidyalaya


1. Assistant Professor

Qualification : 

 Minimum qualification and experience: i. Good academic record with at least 55% marks in Master Degree (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in the subject concerned. A relaxation of 5% may be provided at the graduate and Masters level for the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Differently-abled (physically and visually differently-abled) /Other Backward Classes (OBC) (Non-creamy layer) categories for the purpose of eligibility and for assessing good academic records during direct recruitment to teaching positions. The eligibility marks of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible, based on only the qualifying marks without including any grace mark procedures. ii. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SET. iii. NET/SET shall not be required for such Master Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SET is not conducted


6. Library Assistant (Technical)

Minimum Qualification and Experience: i. Bachelor of Library Science ii. Good knowledge of Computer Application and basic knowledge of library management software packages

Age as per the State Govt. Assam

Salary: Rs 15,000/-Consolidated

7. Laboratory Assistant (Computer)

Qualification  : i. Graduate in any discipline with good academic record. ii. Diploma/degree in Computer Application

Age as per the State Govt. Assam

Salary: Rs 15,000/-Consolidated

Hiring Process : Written-test

The prescribed application shall be issued from 25th May, 2017 from (I) the Office of the Registrar of the University, or (II) downloading from the University website. The price of the application form is Rs 2,000/- (for post no 1) and Rs 1,000/- (for post no 6 and 7 ) to be paid either by cash or demand draft drawn in favour of "Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Viswavidyalaya, Nagaon" payable at State Bank Of India, Nagaon Main Branch.
