✅ Age Limit:

✔️ 18 to 30 years for Others
✔️ No Maximum age limit for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs(OBCMs), BCMs and DWs of all Castes

✅ Pay Scale: ₹ 20600 - 65500 (Level-10) (Revised Scale)

✅ Educational Qualifications:

✔️ Assistant Agricultural Officer:

(1) Must have passed Higher Secondary (plus two) Examination.
(2) Must possess two years Diploma in Agriculture from the Institutions recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu or affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University; or Gandhigram Rural Institute, Dindigul District; or any other institutions under the control of the Commissioner of Agriculture.

✔️ Assistant Horticultural Officer:

(1) A Pass in Higher Secondary Examination.
(2) A pass in the two years Diploma course in Horticulture in the Institutions approved by Tamil Nadu Agricultural University or Director of Horticulture and Plantation Crops or Gandhigram Rural University.

✔️ Agricultural Officer (Extension): A Bachelor degree in Agriculture (B.Sc Agriculture); and Must possess adequate knowledge in Tamil.

✔️ Assistant Director of Horticulture: Must possess a degree in M.Sc.,Horticulture (or) M.Sc., Fruit Science (or)M.Sc., Floriculture and Landscaping (or) M.Sc., Vegetable Science (or) M.Sc., Spices / Plantation and Medicinal and Aromatic Plants.

✔️ Horticultural Officer: Must possess a degree in B.Sc., Horticulture.

✅ Selection Process:

✔️ Written Examination (Objective Type) (Paper -I and II will be set both in Tamil and English)

✅ Application Fee:

✔️ ₹ 150/- for Registration Fee.
✔️ ₹ 100/- for Examination Fee. The exam fee exempted for SC / ST and three free chances for MBC / Denotified Communities.

✅ How to Apply: Eligible candidates apply online through TNPSC Exams portal (tnpscexams.in). "One Time Registration” using Aadhaar is mandatory before applying for any post. The last date for registration of online application is 04/03/2021 till 11:59 PM.
