Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) has released a notification for the recruitment of 889 Assistant Engineers and Junior Engineers in Civil and Mechanical. Interested candidates may check the eligibility criteria and apply online from 23-06-2017 to 22-07-2017.

Eligibility Criteria for Karnataka Recruitment-2017:

Education Qualification: For Assistant Engineer: Candidates must possess a degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering as per the requirement as the case may be Or must be a diploma certificate holder from a recognized institute of engineers regarding parts A and B of the AMIE. For Junior Engineer: Candidates must be holder of a Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering as per the requirement as the case may be from the Department of Technical Education in Karnataka.

Age Limit: For Assistant Engineer: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 35 years For Junior Engineer: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 35 years

Selection Process: Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of the Kannada Language Test, Competitive Exam, Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT).

Application Fee: General Candidates have to pay Rs. 300/- and 2A, 2B, 3A & 3B Category Candidates have to pay Rs. 150/- through e-Payment. SC/ST/Category-1/PH don’t have to pay any fee.
